Energy healing at Jivan Parivartan is a short, focused intervention on the subtle body, the layer of breath, attention and energy that sits between the physical body and the mind. Three specific modalities are offered here: 5 elements balancing (panchabhuta), chakra alignment, and mantra-mudra-yantra healing. Each one comes from the classical Indian and Himalayan traditions, and each one is taught in a quiet, clothed, non-invasive format with no manipulation of the body. Energy healing complements Reiki and sound healing rather than replacing them, and many of our clients book one of these sessions alongside their Reiki or singing bowl work in the same week.

Maa Nisha Kabir, our founder, brings more than twelve years of continuous sadhana to this work, including a two-year silent retreat in the caves of the Nepalese Himalayas. The energy-work modalities offered here are her primary specialty. She has supported more than eight thousand individuals through one-to-one Reiki, sound healing, meditation, counselling and energy balancing, with a focus on chronic stress, anxiety, emotional trauma and the kind of subtle imbalance that does not always show up in a medical examination but is clearly felt in daily life. Co-founder Swami Anish, a Reiki Master and clinical hypnotherapist, supports the work where deeper emotional or subconscious material surfaces during a session.

Three core modalities are offered. 5 Elements Balancing (panchabhuta healing) is a 30-minute session that addresses the constitutional layer: earth (prithvi), water (jala), fire (tejas), air (vayu) and ether (akasha), each of which corresponds to specific body systems and emotional states. Chakra alignment is a 60-minute session that works through the seven main energy centres from the root to the crown using Reiki, breath, sound and visualisation. Mantra-mudra-yantra healing is a 30-minute session that combines a personalised sound (mantra), hand gesture (mudra) and visual focus (yantra) for nervous-system regulation and a take-home daily practice. The 5 Elements and mantra-mudra-yantra sessions are $30 each; chakra alignment is priced on request.

Choosing between them is usually straightforward. If you feel generally out of sync, scattered or low on energy, 5 elements balancing is a good first step. If a specific area of your life is stuck (groundedness, creativity, self-worth, grief, expression, clarity, meaning) and you have time for a fuller session, chakra alignment is the deeper option. If you are looking for something to take home and practise daily as a working tool against stress and overthinking, mantra-mudra-yantra is the one. If you are unsure, send us a sentence or two about what you are working with and we will recommend a starting point.

A session is straightforward and physical-comfort-first. You arrive at our quiet Tarkeshwor centre, fill in a short intake form, and have a brief conversation with the practitioner about what you are working with. You then lie down (for 5 elements and chakra work) or sit (for mantra-mudra-yantra), fully clothed, in a quiet room. The practitioner works with breath, light touch or no touch, sound, gesture and visualisation as the modality requires. There is no manipulation of the body and no asana involved. Most people drift into a deep, sleep-like rest. Afterwards we give you water and time to reorient before you head back into the city.

People come to these sessions for the things that fight-or-flight keeps us stuck in: chronic stress, nervous-system dysregulation, persistent low-level anxiety, poor sleep, emotional reactivity and a general sense of being out of step with their own life. They also come during transitional moments (after grief, after a difficult relationship, before a big decision, after burnout, at the threshold of a new chapter) when something deeper than rest is needed. None of this is a medical claim. Energy work is a complement to medical and psychological care, not a replacement, and we are direct with clients about that.

These sessions pair naturally with the other work we do at Jivan Parivartan. Many clients combine a chakra alignment with a Tibetan singing bowl session in the same week, or pair a 5 elements session with a Reiki session. For those learning Reiki or singing bowls themselves, experiencing these sessions first gives a felt sense of what energy work actually does in the body.

Booking is simple. The fastest way to reach us is WhatsApp on +977 9818514837 or email info@jivanparivartan.com. Tell us briefly what you are working with (a sentence or two is fine) and we will suggest the right starting session. Sessions are usually available within a few days. If you are visiting Kathmandu and want to combine a healing session with our One-Day Transformation Program or a few days of morning meditation, we can build a short package around your visit. We do not pressure clients into series or memberships. Most people come for a single session, see what it does, and decide what is next from there.

Frequently Asked Questions

Energy healing is a category of practices that work on the subtle body, the layer of breath, attention and energy that sits between the physical body and the mind. In practical terms, the practitioner uses some combination of breath, light touch or no touch, sound, gesture and visualisation to help your nervous system shift out of fight or flight into a deep parasympathetic rest. That shift is what allows the body to do its own restorative work. Different modalities (5 elements, chakra alignment, mantra-mudra-yantra) use different anchors, but the underlying mechanism is similar.
No. None of our healing sessions depend on belief, faith or any particular worldview. You only need to be willing to lie or sit quietly for half an hour to an hour. People with no spiritual framework at all report the same physical effects (deeper breath, slower heart rate, calmer mind, better sleep that night) as people who use a yogic or Buddhist framework. The model is a useful map. The session is what the body actually does. Both work without you needing to take a position on the philosophy.
You arrive at our Tarkeshwor centre, fill in a short intake form, and have a brief conversation with the practitioner about what you are working with. You then lie or sit fully clothed in a quiet room. The session itself is 30 to 60 minutes depending on which modality you have booked. The practitioner works gently, with no manipulation of the body. Most people drift into a sleep-like rest. Afterwards we give you water and a few minutes to reorient. We recommend you keep the rest of the day light if possible.
The vocabulary (panchabhuta, chakra, mantra, mudra, yantra) is Sanskrit and comes from the classical Indian yogic and tantric tradition. The practice itself is not a religion. We do not ask you to follow any particular path, take any vows, or convert to anything. The traditions are simply the source of the methods, in the same way that Reiki has a Japanese vocabulary without being a religious system. You can come from any background and the work is the same.
Yes, and most of our clients do. A common combination is a Reiki session and a chakra alignment session in the same week, or a singing bowl session followed by a 5 elements balancing as a grounding seal. Mantra-mudra-yantra healing also pairs well with our daily morning meditation, which is paid per session, weekly or monthly. If you tell us what else you are doing, we will help you sequence the week so the work compounds rather than competing.
No. These sessions are not medical or psychological treatment. They are not a replacement for medication, psychotherapy, surgery or any form of medical care. Many of our clients use them alongside ongoing medical and psychological treatment, and we strongly support that. If you are in acute medical or psychiatric crisis, please contact a qualified clinician first. If you are unsure whether a session is appropriate for your situation, tell us in your intake message and we will be direct about whether we think it will help.
5 Elements Balancing runs 30 minutes, chakra alignment 60 minutes, and mantra-mudra-yantra healing 30 minutes. Payment is accepted in EUR, USD or Nepalese rupees, by cash, bank transfer or mobile wallet. We do not run discount or upsell pricing. If you are booking a package alongside Reiki, sound healing or the One-Day Transformation Program, we can build a combined rate. There are no memberships and no obligation to return. The 5 Elements and mantra-mudra-yantra sessions are $30 each; chakra alignment is priced on request.
The fastest route is WhatsApp on +977 9818514837 or email info@jivanparivartan.com.
