Reiki Meditation in Kathmandu

Reiki meditation brings two practices together: the gentle energy flow of Reiki and the stillness of meditation. The result is a deeply calming session that settles the nervous system, balances the energy body and teaches you to heal yourself. A 60-minute session is $50.

What is Reiki meditation?

Reiki meditation is a guided practice that weaves Reiki energy work into a meditative state. As your mind settles into meditation, Reiki is channelled through the major energy centres, so the calming effect of stillness and the balancing effect of Reiki reinforce one another. You stay fully clothed and simply rest while the practice unfolds.

At Jivan Parivartan this is taught both as a session you receive and as a self-practice you can learn. For Reiki students, it is a natural extension of training: a daily practice that keeps your energy clear and your mind steady long after you leave Kathmandu.

What Reiki meditation helps with

  • A busy, overactive mind that struggles to settle in ordinary meditation.
  • Chronic stress, anxiety and the physical tension that comes with them.
  • Poor sleep and difficulty switching off in the evening.
  • Feeling energetically drained, scattered or out of balance.
  • Deepening an existing Reiki or meditation practice.

What to expect in a session

You are guided into a calm, meditative state through breath and gentle awareness.

  3. 3

    Reiki flow

Reiki is channelled through the energy centres while you rest in stillness, deepening the calm.

  4. 4

    Integration

You return slowly, with time to reorient, and simple guidance for practising on your own at home.

Learn to practise it yourself

If you would like to make Reiki meditation a daily self-practice, our Reiki training teaches you to channel Reiki for yourself. Many students combine the two so they leave with both an experience and a lifelong tool.
